It’s a thriller that puts in question the supernatural, with a gloomy setting, which I love. Rowan Caine answers an employment ad to a nanny job, taking care of four children, very well paid. Rowan takes noticed of some weird and concerning situations. One of them is the fact that, in little time, several nannies started working there and left abruptly. The other is the children’s weird and quirky behaviour. Despite don’t having the stomach to watch terror movies, I can easily read terror books and feel the suspense building up in me. “Alguém fica mesmo louco, se impedirem que durma o tempo suficiente.”   ☘      Review in english       ☘   Coloquei este livro na lista há já algum tempo e queria ler algo de escrita leve e rápida, e não desiludiu nesse aspecto. É um thriller que apela à dúvida do sobrenatural, com uma atmosfera sombria, tal como eu gosto. Rowan Caine responde a um anúncio de emprego como ama de 4 crianças, muito bem compensado. Rowan apercebe-se de várias situações preocupantes. Uma delas é o facto de num pequeno espaço de tempo, várias amas terem-se despedido e as crianças serem peculiares. Apesar de ser uma "Maria Amélia" no que diz respeito a filmes de terror, consigo ler facilmente e sentir o suspense a criar dentro de mim ao ponto de chegar à garganta. Este livro, no entanto, não conseguiu atingir aquilo que considero um excelente thriller (se bem que o Sr. Donato Carrisi fez questão de me estragar todo os thrillers por causa deste menino ).  Apesa...
